Alpha Electronics is a brand of Vishay Precision Foil Resistors and a product line of Vishay Precision Group (NYSE: VPG), manufacturing the most precise and stable resistors available: metal foil resistors. This ultra-precision foil resistor is based on a planar structure: a cold-rolled foil of nickel-chromium alloy is bonded to a flat ceramic substrate. It can provide a temperature coefficient as low as 0.14ppm/℃ (typical value), an accuracy of up to 0.005%, and excellent long-term stability (5ppm/year, 10ppm/3 years).
