Motorola Inc, formerly known as Galvin Manufacturing Corporation, was founded in 1928. In 1947, the name was changed to Motorola and it was used as a trademark from the 1930s. Motorola uses radio, broadband and the Internet, and provides embedded chip systems and end-to-end total network communications solutions to enhance the control and connectivity of individuals, work groups, vehicles and homes.
